About us

Financial literacy built for the decisions before graduation.

StudentFinance.me turns common money questions into practical next steps, without pretending every product fits every student.

Our approach

We focus on three decisions that often arrive early: choosing a bank account, building credit responsibly, and evaluating student loan costs. Our guides emphasize fees, tradeoffs, and questions to ask before applying.

How the site is funded

Some links are advertising partner links. We may receive compensation when a visitor follows a link or uses a partner product. Compensation does not affect grant selection, and no purchase is required to enter.

The grant

The $500 Campus Essentials Grant is awarded biweekly to help with practical campus needs. The money fit check gives us a useful signal about what students are navigating while providing a short route into the drawing.

Our line in the sand: Educational context comes first. Product availability and partner terms are always subject to the provider's current disclosures.
